Hillsdale Library show tomorrow cancelled :(

Boohoo! I have to cancel my show tomorrow at Hillsdale Library, as I'm stuck in Texas after thunderstorms delayed my flight back to Portland. Hopefully I can reschedule the show soon! Sorry.

Presenting "Hep Cats & Hound Dogs"!

Red Yarn Productions is excited to announce nine free performances of the new musical puppet show, "Hep Cats & Hound Dogs," at Multnomah County Libraries in March and April 2012:

Can a cat and a dog be friends? Join Red Yarn, aka Andy Furgeson, and his hilarious animal friends Hep Cat Eddie and Jim the Hound Dog in this lively musical puppet show. Mixing classic rockabilly and country songs with puppetry, storytelling and interactive performance, this show is sure to be fun for the whole family!

All performances are free. First come first served. Generally, tickets are available 30 minutes before showtime.

Big Bad Wolf!

Red Yarn was recently commissioned to make a Big Bad Wolf mask for TriptheDark, a wonderful Portland indie dance company working on a dance production of Red Riding Hood. I'm posting a few pictures below, or you can see more on the Facebook album.

Also, a reminder that I'm performing at Cafe au Play (5633 SE Division St.) from 10:30-11:00am, each Friday in February. It's me, my guitar, and a suitcase full of puppets. So far so fun!
